At Durham Tees Valley Airport (MME) cargo is an essential part of our business.

The airport offers excellent access to the Durham and Tees Valley City Region, Northern England and Southern Scotland, located within 15 minutes of three major strategic highways – the A1, A19 and A66, which link into the national motorway network - M1, M62 and M6.

MME offers a 2,291m x 46m runway, 24 hours operation (upon request), and has efficient and effective cargo handling facilities.    The airport can accommodate almost any freighter aircraft currently in operation, including Boeing 747’s and AN124’s.    With no slot constraints, excellent year round weather and efficient handling operations MME is a competitive option for all freight business.
